Textile expansion joints

Textile expansion joints are used to compensate displacements causes by temperature, pressure, or oscillations and mechanical vibrations in pipelines. Please remember that they are not carriers, but rather elastic connections that additionally limit noise spreading in a system. A proper layout of textiles allows for operation in a broad range of temperatures (up to 1000 °C) and pressures: -0,2 ÷ 0,3 bar. Currently we use 100% asbestos-free glass or ceramic materials for thermal insulation.

Textile expansion joints are applied in the following branches of industry:

- power industry

- chemical industry

- petrochemical industry

- paper industry

- cement industry

- food industry

We have been certified for using textiles in systems where explosion risk occurs and these in contact with food.

An expansion joint construction depends not only on working parameters but also on local conditions of the construction. There are rectangular and ring joints with flanges, as well as without flanges, so-called sleeves.

All information in this catalogue is based on years of experience in manufacture and use of the discussed products. Since sealing performance in the joint is subject to multiple factors such as mounting method, system parameters, and sealed medium, technical parameters specified herein are of informative nature only and cannot be used as grounds for any claims; any special uses of products are subject to consulting with the manufacturer.
